Reverend Roland B. Ramirez came to our parish in July 2016. He was ordained to the priesthood on August 22, 2008 for the Diocese of Sacramento. He was born on September 1, 1981 and the fourth and youngest child of Rolando L. Ramirez and Juanita B. Ramirez. His father was a carpenter and so at a young age, Father Roland already learned the art and skill of making furnitures. He helped his father build their home along with his older brothers. Mixing cement, installing floors, doing some plumbing etc. were his everyday typical chores yet he always carried a great sense of humor through hardships in life.
